REAL WEDDINGS 37  Leanne Steel married Alexander Stitt (known as Jack) on 24 th October 2020 at Stone Barn, Huntsmill Farm in Shalstone, Buckinghamshire SMALL and chic L eanne and Jack met at the Leeds Festival in 2007. “We became good friends before heading off to individual universities,” Leanne tells us. “It wasn’t until we both returned to Cumbria where we are from that we got together before moving to Buckingham to start the next chapter of our lives.” The couple became engaged during a surprise proposal on a trip to New Zealand. “We were in Marlborough on a road trip that we’d been planning for some time,” Leanne tells us. “During a cycling wine tour with my sister and her fiancé, we were enjoying a walk through the grapevines when Jack surprised me by asking me to marry him!” Here, Leanne tells us all about their intimate micro wedding with a rustic feel.
