Your Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wedding - August/September 2020 (Issue 84)
56 “I love this image of the bride having a brief moment of peace in the car. I can almost feel her thoughts of contemplation as she looks down at her bouquet, trying to take every moment in and treasure it. It's a beautiful composition through the car taking your eye straight to the bride with the sheepskin rug and leather interior bringing a nice texture and cavity to the image. The light and contrast work so well as a black and white photo." - Alice “This image is one of my favourites too because it's so full of joy with the couple having just walked through the confetti. I love that they are looking at each other.” - Alice “The reason I love this image is that it's unposed and I had to be so quick to grab the opportunity. The amazing sunset was fading fast and I had to battle against the pull of the dance floor, a couple after a few drinks and guests cheering from the sidelines. I knew that I only had one chance and then they would be off - fortunately I managed to take it among the distractions." - Alice “I love the freeness and joy that this couple both show while performing their first dance.” - Alice Who? The glances to each other, the real laughter, the beautiful long walk in Windsor with the stunning background - it was just a beautiful in-the-moment capture." - Stephanie “Such a serene moment, the newlyweds were walking into the grounds of their wedding venue and I waited until they were just under the archway to act as a beautiful frame. It looks like artwork, it wasn't posed - just simple, beautiful moments.” - Stephanie “Confetti moments are some of my favourites. You cannot fake the smiles and shock when thousands of little dried petals hit you! It's also a super moment for the guests because they feel as if they are getting involved, but just look at their faces - it's a joyous moment for all involved." - Stephanie “High energy, high laughter, real giggles - you can hear the laughter booming from this bridal party group shot at one of my favourite venues, Cantley House Hotel. We work with our couples and have a few funny lines up our sleeves to create reactions like this. I couldn't possibly tell you what was said, but it might have been something to do with the hen and stag do's!" - Stephanie Who? Alice Morgan Photography Where? I love the fact that couples can add their personal touches which can be as quirky or eccentric as they like at this venue. Kate and Charlie took full advantage of this by having a trishaw for their arrival. It provided so much hilarity and featured in many of the photographs!” - Wendy “I love this image because it really captures the moment! You can’t plan for a gust of wind to take hold of the bride’s veil and the groom’s reaction to it - it’s magic when that split second is captured.” - Wendy
