REAL WEDDINGS 41 My bridal bouquet was simple yet elegant, combining white and pink colours while our bridesmaids carried posies of cream and white hydrangeas and the groomsmen’s buttonholes were single blush pink roses. I don’t usually wear dresses so I thought I would find it hard to find one that I loved. I took my nan and my mum dress shopping with me and allowed them to choose a style after I had tried on a handful of different ones. They really do know best because their choice was the gown I fell in love with! I kept it a secret from my bridesmaids and it was lovely seeing their faces after eight months of them trying to guess what I would wear! “The team at the hotel supplied mouth-watering canapés and a delicious barbecue.” – Claire Our beautiful bridesmaids wore blush pink and grey full-length dresses while John and his groomsmen decided on light grey, three-piece suits teamed with blush pink ties. Our three-tier cake blended chocolate orange, white chocolate and raspberry, and lemon flavours. The designer Kim also made 24 mini salted caramel cupcakes for us.
