Your Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wedding - June/July 2020 (Issue 83)
were made by a small company again, Love Unique Personal for those invited to the daytime advising to sit anywhere, one confirming our wedding name and date and our friend created us the most lovely order of ceremony to be on show.” LOOKING THE PART Kelly wore a gorgeous A-line gown that was the opposite of what she had in mind. “I never dreamed of wearing this, until one of my bridesmaids suggested I tried it on and I fell in love with it straight away,” recalls Kelly. Stefan wore an on-trend navy blue, tartan three-piece suit, with a blush pink tie to match the bridesmaids dresses – blush pink floor-length gowns – while his groomsmen matched his suit, however they had a different corsage. TIME TO CELEBRATE A DJ and magician entertained Kelly and Stefan’s big- day guests prior to eating – a barbecue during the day and fish and chips in the evening from Lillibrooke Manor. “Everyone thought the entertainment was great and was definitely a hit!” remembers Kelly. “We also had a photo booth which the lovely Loren Stone provided for us, which went down extremely well with the guests also.” MEMORABLE MOMENTS Understandably the couple were nervous and emotional on the day but teamed with incredible happiness. A stand-out moment for the couple was the speeches! “The father-of-the-bride’s, groom’s maid-of-honour’s and one of the bridesmaid’s speeches were all emotional but so so lovely,” shares Kelly. Kelly’s top tip: Try to avoid stressing about things that are out of your control as you will not be able to change them and if you have the right people around you, they will ensure things go so smoothly. Make sure you take some time out on the day to spend with your new hubby as the day goes so quickly and the majority of the time you aren’t together. REAL WEDDINGS 41
