THE BIG DAY Sallie looked stunning in an A-line gown with lace detailing, while Jared and the groomsmen stood out in dark green suits from Moss Bros, complementing the bridesmaids’ sage-green mid-length dresses. Looking forward to the day itself, Sallie adds, “We both kept hearing from people that your wedding day is the best day, we didn’t believe them, however we now find ourselves being those people. It was the best day.” A special moment for the couple was the speeches, “Jared’s speech has been spoken about at every family occasion since the wedding and regularly brought up by friends. It was truly hilarious (we are all unsure if he meant it to be) it had all of our guests in stitches.” POST-VOWS After the wedding Sallie and Jared headed off to the Lake District and stayed at The Samlings Hotel; this was the perfect pre-wedding break before heading off in the summer further afield to Canada travelling around British Columbia. 36
