“I looked at the fascinating origins of Shaw House, a Grade I Elizabethan mansion, and combined that with a 21 st -century, elegant bridal style,” says shoot organiser Sarah Shuttle. “The abundant florals made a grand statement in the Great Hall, complemented by the myriad colours and golden accents on the table, and the rich wood of the Elizabethan staircase flowed seamlessly into floorboards, crossback chairs and an aged wooden trestle. The stationery used deckle edge paper and gold leaf to give a luxury old-meets-new effect, and even the dress added a historical element to the modern separates with a ruffle neck and sleeve sheer blouse.” 60
