Based in Bicester, Oxfordshire, I offer an initial free consultation, during which your ideas and vision are discussed. As I operate by appointment only, you would have the whole place solely for you and your bridal party, allowing as much time as you need in a friendly and comfortable setting. You may want to try on gowns from my collections for added inspiration or just to have a play around with different looks and silhouettes. With champagne on hand, we always have a fantastic time at these appointments, with the bridal party being an essential part in guiding you through this process and making it extra special. Then working together, we will go through the vast catalogue of fabric and lace samples to create a bespoke piece, ensuring you are the main focus at all times when customising the look – for instance, by matching illusion tulle and lining fabric to your own skin tone, when the design calls for such a feature, allowing it to disappear against the skin and showing off that lace detail. Cutting the pattern to the bride’s exact measurements and specifications eliminates the need for alteration after the gown has already been constructed, hence dress fittings at the boutique are essential in getting that perfect custom fit. I will also design and create all bridal accessories, such as veils, hair vines, tiaras and sashes, using couture quality techniques in sewing and hand- beading all custom pieces.
