Your Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wedding - Jun/Jul 2019 (Issue 77)
Abingdon Abbey is a beautiful venue – we loved the rustic stonework, the peaceful surroundings and the history of the building, and its proximity to the church was perfect for our guests. Hessian and lace bunting was used to decorate the high beams, and warm fairylights were wrapped around the beams. The table plan was printed on pearl- coloured paper, and the seating charts were strung on an upcycled pallet, decorated with feathers and butterflies. The church vase featured white gladioli, tall royal blue delphinium, eryngium, gypsophila, and eucalyptus cinerea foliage. The bride’s bouquet included white hydrangea, royal blue delphinium, eryngium, oxypetalum, and eucalyptus cinerea foliage. Gypsophila stems were used for the table centrepieces and the bridesmaids’ bouquets. 56
