gift display, a candy bar and doughnuts and cupcakes displayed on wooden pallets and ivory plates. ON THE DAY Jessica and Bianca’s vintage theme was exemplified by their arrival in a pair of 1964 MGs. Jessica wore a BHLDN Perdita dress, a part-bohemian and part- modern ivory gown featuring an illusion bodice and a clean, column silhouette. On the sheer overlay, raised embroidery in an intricate motif brought texture to the high neck and slight train. She also wore a faux fur ivory shawl, diamond stud earrings and ivory flats. Bianca wore a black two-piece crinkle chiffon dress, the Devon Top, which featured a high halterneck with ruffle detailing and was paired with a full-length tulip skirt, complete with a slit and a wide waist band. She wore black heels and accessorised with a vintage gemstone bracelet and a black faux fur shawl. “My favourite part of the day was seeing Bianca ready for the wedding for the first time as she walked down the steps of the Steventon Hotel,” says Jessica. As for Bianca, it was the heartwarming, hilarious speeches that made her day. Thanks to all their guests and the hard work of the suppliers, everything far exceeded expectations, and the music and dancing made for the perfect end to a perfect day. Now all the newlyweds have to do is decide where to go on their slightly postponed honeymoon – preferably somewhere really hot! REAL WEDDINGS 43
