Your Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wedding - Apr/May 2019 (Issue 76)
As we drove up to the Railway Centre, I think we both got good feelings. The space available was incredible. We wanted something original – this was the place. For the day, I had a stunning mermaid-style lace dress with a long train, coupled with a long, sparkly veil, tiara and sparkly shoes. Danny got me a beautiful Cinderella carriage pendant on the morning of the wedding, which I wore for the day. The bridesmaids wore a floral tea dress style with a lilac underskirt and simple white shoes. They carried bouquets of gypsophila. One of our favourite parts of the day was the steam train ride after the ceremony. It was a chance to reflect and speak to our guests and each other. Our florist delivered the most beautiful bouquets of wild, country-style flowers. People had to search through the straw to find their labelled pumpkin with the corresponding table name, then an old-fashioned wooden dolly peg was placed in a tea cup to show the guests where they would sit once at the table. 54
