Your Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wedding - Apr/May 2019 (Issue 76)
OF MY LIFE Jaq and Ross’ wedding in Marsh Gibbon was full of special moments that they will forever treasure Images courtesy of Yellow Door Photography J aq and Ross met on a night out in Aylesbury. “They say you won’t meet the love of your life at three in the morning,” says Jaq. “But our eyes met across the dancefloor, and that was that. Ross moved in with me after a month or so, and we didn’t look back.” Around the time they met, Jaq’s mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. “Ross was brilliant as mum’s health worsened, and when she passed away six months after we met, he was a huge support. I knew then he was the one I wanted to keep.” Ross proposed on their third anniversary. “I don’t think I said ‘yes’ for five minutes because I was crying so hard,” Jaq shares. “It was a complete surprise, but only to me. All of our family already knew, and they were thrilled for us.” Here, the bride tells us more about their big day... Jaq Stevens, 33, married Ross Williams, 38, on 1 st September, 2018, at Marsh Gibbon Church, with a reception at Bicester Hotel Golf and Spa. Love REAL WEDDINGS 47
