wish for. We were completely overwhelmed with the love and laughter that continued throughout the day.” Grace travelled to the church with her father in a white Rolls-Royce, and her bridesmaids and mother travelled in white Bentleys. “Walking into the church with my father was extremely special, and it was lovely seeing Sean at the end of the aisle, smiling at us.” The collective effort made the day extra special; Grace’s sister read beautifully, and a close friend of her mother’s listed all the reasons why Sean and Grace knew the other was the one . “It was all about love and mentioned our parents and grandparents,” says the bride. The newlyweds then drove around Cookham in the sunshine. ENJOYING THE DAY During the drinks reception, there was a magician and a saxophonist to entertain guests. Grace and her mother also surprised everyone during the meal with singing waiters, who started with Your Song by Elton John and followed with selections from Phantom of the Opera, ABBA, opera classics and That’s Amore . “They were just fantastic,” says Grace. “We were all dancing and even standing on chairs waving our napkins. One of them jumped on to a chair and then fell off. We thought he had really hurt himself, but he jumped straight back up and continued performing like a true professional.” In the evening, brilliant band Fake Tan performed. There was also a photo booth, a sweet cart and even signature bride and groom cocktails. Then, after a garden party the next day, it was off to Kenya on safari and then Zanzibar – a whole new set of adventures just beginning. REAL WEDDINGS 43
