Your Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wedding - April/May 2025 (Issue 112)

REAL WEDDINGS 33 was printed on seeded paper and presented with beautiful wildflower seeds so each of our guests could remember our special day,” Charlotte explains. “Our talented florist created the most spectacular floral arrangements for the church and reception venue and later in the evening, these were deconstructed and given to our guests in bouquets or reused at our family breakfast the following morning. We also found the most wonderful caterers in Sojo Kitchen, who use fresh, local produce that’s in season to create unbelievably tasty food!” LOOKING THE PART Charlotte wore the stylish Le Belle V2 dress by Hera Couture purchased from the bridal boutique Halo & Wren. “Josh wore a bespoke tuxedo while his groomsmen wore hired tuxedos all from Moss,” Charlotte tells us. “Our beautiful bridesmaids wore dresses from Six Stories in a mix of styles in a pretty dusky blue shade.” TIME TO CELEBRATE Charlotte’s parents had a saxophonist at their wedding more than 40 years ago and always talked about it so Charlotte and Josh wanted timeless entertainment too. “We discovered Girls That Mix who provided a saxophonist to perform during our champagne reception, followed by a DJ to get our evening party started!” Charlotte says. “We cannot put into words the emotion we felt throughout our special day and we have never been more relaxed. Having the amazing Mel fromYour Story Events planning our wedding meant we did not have to worry about any aspect and could just enjoy the most magical day with our family and friends.” - Charlotte and Josh “We were so lucky with our speeches – my father made the most heartfelt and emotional speech (with some fun thrown in!) and our best man hit the tone perfectly with humour. Josh’s speech was perfect in every way.” - Charlotte
