I wore the Rosewood wedding dress by the bridal designer Suzanne Neville. It was the opposite of what I thought I would choose – I’d imagined a long-sleeved, lace dress but opted for this understated sleeveless one with an internal corset and ruching that was unbelievably flattering and made me feel amazing! Our beautiful bridesmaids wore blue, yellow and white ruffle wrap maxi dresses with floaty sleeves which they teamed with white strappy sandals. Enjoy every second and remember how unique the day is and how you feel during each part - I even wrote everything down the week after so I won’t forget anything.” - Emma Dan purchased his Antique Rogue suit from Impeccable Formal Wear. It was a blue three-piece design (paler in colour than the groomsmen’s suits) which he wore with a lemon-print tie he bought from Saks in New York and a pair of matching cufflinks. His shoes were Emerson by Barker in antique rosewood (which I was delighted about because it was the same name as my dress!) Our first dance, which we had practised a lot (we even had lessons) was one of my favourite moments of the day. I had to tie my dress up with a piece of string because it was too long to do our first dance in – lucky we had a secret practice the day beforehand otherwise our first dance could have gone very differently! We hired a local DJ called Will from Dukebox Discos for our evening party and everyone danced the night away. “All of the speeches and the MCing done by my brother were superb - it was special listening to stories about us.” - Emma Despite the thunderstorm the night before, and rain all morning into the early afternoon, we still managed to get some beautiful golden hour sunset photos and video footage. Our groomsmen wore dark blue suits teamed with blue and white ties featuring a Mediterranean-style pattern finished with a pair of tan shoes. 40
