I teamed my dress with a pair of strappy heels with ankle ties. They were so comfortable and I can wear them again and again! For our table plan and place names, we used a digital sign purchased from Etsy featuring Amalfi-style blue and white tiling with citrus lemon detail. As our centrepieces, we had faux foliage garlands placed down the middle of the two long trestle tables with real lemons scattered on top of pale blue table runners. There were two large ceiling drapes running front to back and down the front wall of the Stone Barn framing our ceremony. I was so happy with the decorations – they looked even better than I had imagined and they brought my vision to life perfectly! All of our decorations were provided by the amazing Cotswold Wedding Co - we opted for faux flowers and decorations. We had beautiful floral hoops (two were displayed in the Stone Barn for the ceremony and two in the White Barn for the wedding breakfast), an archway that provided the backdrop during our ceremony with a matching table arrangement, plenty of foliage plus LED candles displayed on the shelves during the ceremony. Top tip: “Track everything during the planning stages on a spreadsheet.” - Emma and Dan Dan was surprised as I got up and gave a mini speech after our wedding breakfast and created a video montage that I called ‘six years of firsts’ which was a wonderful moment. We had a delicious red velvet cake, our favourite, which included a lemon-flavoured tier to tie in with our theme. It was decorated with white icing, yellow roses and lemon slices. I wore a gorgeous veil with a satin trim that I had made bespoke with tulle butterflies. 39 REAL WEDDINGS
