Your Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wedding - August/September 2024 (Issue 108)

My veil was by Joyce Jayson. It was an ivory confetti cascade two-tier style and I loved the detail. I asked my chosen seamstress to add straps and buttons down the back of my dress – it was perfect! Simon wore a camel-coloured, three-piece suit teamed with a cream and sky blue-coloured paisley tie and pocket square. I designed the flowers on our wedding cake to match the confetti flowers on my veil. Our friend, the magician Duncan Swan entertained our guests. Everyone enjoyed pizzas from Dough with the Flow pizza van. Polly’s Parlour served our guests ice cream. I designed our table names and we also had a guest book. Our hand-written place names featured calligraphy by our bridesmaids, Catherine and Rosiland. 34
