I always knew I wanted a simple dress and when trying on a variety of styles, I kept going back to an elegant, simple style with a square neck. We wanted our special day to include bright flowers on a neutral and clean base. Our florist, Penny, provided the perfect bouquets and arrangements. Our stunning centrepieces were bud vases filled with a mix of peonies, delphiniums, roses, sweet peas and crespedia in pink, blue and yellow. The first time we visited Rackleys Chiltern Hills, we loved the relaxed vibe of the venue and its rustic oak beams and exposed brickwork. We like the fact that the venue was contained and not too big to keep everyone together. Our table names were after a different organ in the body with ‘fun facts’ on the back to reflect our medical profession. The staff at Rackleys were great and made everything so easy. They were very accommodating and helped bring our vision to life – we can’t thank them enough! Absolute catering provided our delicious canapés and three-course wedding breakfast.
