He wanted something simple and classic, rather than traditional wedding attire. He also wanted something special as he wears a suit to work. After trying on the tux, he truly felt like a groom. We’re so grateful to all of our suppliers who went above and beyond to make our day happen; we’ll forever be grateful for their kindness. Huge thanks also to our photographer, Emma Gosling, she’s super-talented and made us feel so comfortable. We’re both keen planners, so having to change our dream wedding was incredibly difficult to accept. In the end, all the little things we thought were important didn’t even cross our minds. Our wedding was so far from what we had planned, but it was the most amazing day. Our micro- wedding really stressed the importance of the ceremony, and that nothing really mattered other than being married. We set up a live YouTube link to stream the church ceremony, and we posted goodie bags to our loved ones who couldn’t be there so they could join in from home. Our closest family and friends recorded us a wonderful surprise video with lots of lovely messages. 46
