An Essex Wedding - March/april 2021 (Issue 97)

I knew my Lottie Lew dress was the one from the moment I put it on. It was a surpr ise to everyone as I love vintage fashion, so everyone thought I’d wear a rockabilly-styl e dress. Instead, I opted for a full-length lac e dress with cut-out motifs and a sheer back . Chris’ family arrived by double-decker bus, which was made even better by the fact that the best man, a groomsman and the groom’s uncle are all bus drivers. It must have been quite a sight for the neighbours to see a double-decker driving down the cul-de-sac! Sadly, my dad passed away some years ago from a heart attack. In order to keep his memory alive we gave British Heart Foundation pin badges as favours. We also gave our guests hand sanitiser and masks. REAL WEDDINGS 43 
