We were both very calm on the day and not nervous at all. We were just excited to be getting married after so many years together, and it was the most beautiful day surrounded by our family and friends. My cheeks hurt from smiling so much! We were worried about missing time with our guests during the photos, but our photographer and videographer were amazing; they went above and beyond to make sure we had the shots we wanted. The venue staff were wonderful too. The event manager, Natasha, was there whenever we needed her and she worked incredibly hard on the day. We loved every second but there were a few moments that stood out, like just before we made our entrance for the meal and we were able to catch a glimpse of our guests chatting and enjoying themselves. Our first dance was to Riptide by Vance Joy, an upbeat song that really set the mood for the evening. 48
