O NCE U PON AT IME… Bridal hair and make-up artist Dannielle and her husband Ollie’s big day was a wintry fairytale Images courtesy of Photographer Liam Gillan D annielle and Ollie’s relationship started as a modern fairytale when they matched on dating app Bumble. “It was pure coincidence as I was living in London at the time, and Ollie had just come into the city for a meeting,” Dannielle tells us. They chatted for a month before meeting up in Chelmsford. “We didn’t stop talking all night,” Dannielle says. “There was an instant connection; it really was love at first sight.” Dannielle once worked at Disneyland Paris, and the French city has a special place in her heart, so Ollie knew it was the perfect place to propose. “When we got to our hotel room, he told me to go on the balcony,” Dannielle remembers. “We were overlooking the Eiffel Tower – I was in awe!” Ollie knew how to make the holiday even better though. “When I turned around, he was down on one knee,” Dannielle smiles. “Of course I said ‘yes!’ We’d only been together eight months but everything felt so right.” Back in the UK, the loved-up couple started planning their wedding for 7 th December, 2019, at Apton Hall.
