ELEGANCE Mulberry House was the perfect backdrop for Laura and Archie’s country-inspired big day Images courtesy of Bloomwood Photography Rustic A lways a great basis for a marriage, Laura and Archie were friends before they got together. “He was so caring and we soon grew very close,” Laura tells us. “Archie wrote his feelings for me in a letter and gave it to me – our relationship bloomed from there.” Laura loves pandas, so Archie hatched a plan to pop the question at the panda enclosure at Edinburgh Zoo. “He was acting a bit odd as we walked up to the animals,” Laura remembers. “Then he got down on one knee – it was so sweet!” The zoo put up a congratulations message on a screen, but they got the timing wrong and displayed it before Archie had proposed – luckily, Laura hadn’t noticed!
