How would you describe your boutique? Our beautiful studio is nestled in the gorgeous Essex countryside. When you book an appointment with us, the studio is exclusively yours for two hours to explore our fabulous range of dresses and bridesmaids’ styles. There’s a comfy seating area for your guests and we’ve always got the kettle on! What designers will brides find in store? For the brides we have Wtoo by Watters, The House of Nicholas, Bianco Evento and Emma Bridals. Bridesmaids can choose from Wtoo by Watters and Emma Bridals. Which celebrity would you most like to dress and why? We’d love to dress Nathalie Emmanuel. A naturally beautiful woman born in Essex, she’s had a diverse acting career on stage and screen and has starred in The Lion King and Game of Thrones. What’s your favourite thing about working in the wedding industry? We get to meet the most wonderful people, and we adore helping brides find their dream dress (and occasionally choosing it for them). We love hearing about their wedding plans and sometimes getting an invite to the big day! We sell new, sample and pre-loved designer dresses at half their original price – all in immaculate condition. We embrace the ethos of re-using, recycling and sustainability to protect our planet. We’re not tied to any particular designer and there’s a wide range of sizes, prices and styles available. What designers will brides find in store? We have Morilee, Jenny Packham, Temperley Bridal, Ladybird, Ronald Joyce, Watters, Art Couture and many more. Which celebrity would you most like to dress and why? I’d love to dress Ruth Langsford. She’s elegant, sassy, has great curves and represents her generation of women in a glamorous way. I have lots of more mature brides coming to my boutique wanting something that’s not too bridal, and I can see Ruth in one of these elegant styles. What’s your favourite thing about working in the wedding industry? I’ve worked in this industry for 13 years; I was planning and running weddings before selling gowns. Getting to know brides and their entourage is a joy, and I absolutely love that moment when they find the one . We celebrate with bubbly, photos, and of course, our “I said yes to the dress” sign!
