An Essex Wedding - May/June 2020 (Issue 92)

We quickly started looking at venues and came across Blake Hall. We knew it would be so special and different to weddings we had attended before. We viewed it in the middle of winter; we knew that if we loved it then, it’d be even more amazing in summer. The fabulous staff and accommodation sealed the deal. We wanted a romantic and fresh feel with natural colours. Our floral arrangements included peonies, roses, gypsophila and foliage, and my bouquet was loose and relaxed. There was a mixture of tall and short arrangements with logs and candles throughout the barn, while the aisle was lined with petals and gypsophila. My mum dressed a pretty birdcage for the registrar’s table. 42
