SUMMER Paige and Joel’s Blake Hall wedding put the emphasis on having fun! Images courtesy of Julia & You romance W e love that the story of how Paige and Joel met involves an escaped puppy! “I’d been watching my friends play football and Joel was also playing,” Paige remembers. “Afterwards, we all went to the pub, when my dog got out of her harness and started running towards the pitch. Joel sprinted after her and managed to catch her!” Not long after, Paige messaged Joel asking if he’d be at the football summer party, adding that she was single. “It was the biggest hint ever,” Paige laughs. “We hit it off that night and the rest is history.” Fast forward to December 2016, and Paige was arriving home after working in Dubai three months. “I stepped through the door and Joel told me to close my eyes,” she says. “When I opened them, he was on one knee – I burst into tears!” The loved-up pair soon got to work planning their dream day at Blake Hall for 6 th July, 2019.
