An Essex Wedding - May/June 2020 (Issue 92)

www.hollyrose.co.uk FASHIONISTAS Multiway dress specialist Lá Closet Dé Chánel is celebrating three award wins in three years by launching a fantastic new website to make ordering your bridesmaids’ outfits even easier. “It all started in 2017, a few months after my own wedding,” owner Chánel Barber tells us. “My best girls all wore these versatile dresses and after so many compliments I decided to jump straight in. I built the business through Facebook, Instagram and attending wedding shows.” The new website will enable customers to get their hands on these easy-to-wear dresses that can be made for all ages, sizes and heights and styled in more than 30 ways. They’re available in 60 shades and the company even offers matching ties, bow ties and pocket squares for the men. “The website will feature step-by-step tutorials,” Chánel tells us. “There’s an easy ordering system for swatches to find your ideal colour. You’ll also get my personal help with very order.” Fashion is always evolving, and the latest addition to the range is a gorgeous multiway jumpsuit to get your best girls looking super- trendy. So we wanted to share some news from Pink Vanilla Events, organisers of the super-fun Pink Stiletto Nights and Tipsy Tea Parties – two brilliant events that are perfect for pre-wedding celebrations. “We’re currently hosting the parties at The Rayleigh Club, but we’ll soon be adding Orsett Hall to our party list,” creative director Amy McGill tells us. “Pink Stilleto Nights was our first creation, but after feedback that people wanted a daytime event I created the Tipsy Tea Party. We also offer private planning and bespoke options.” The nighttime events include buff butlers, a drag queen, a disco, cocktails, wine and a meal – there’s also surprise entertainment – all in a plush decorated suite. For those who want to keep it to a more reasonable hour, the Tipsy Tea Party is a sparkly afternoon tea with unlimited prosecco, tea and coffee, and lots of entertainment. There’s always a surprise twist in the afternoon leaving partygoers wanting more. “People work hard and life can be tough, so we love to see a room of guests letting their hair down and enjoying themselves,” Amy says. “We’re thrilled we can offer this to more people across Essex at this new location.” Find out more at www.pinkvanillaevents.com PULLING TOGETHER… The coronavirus pandemic has affected every single one of us, and for those of you planning a wedding for summer 2020 it’s been a particularly stressful journey to navigate.
