TRUE Emma and Matthew prove that you can plan your dream wedding in just a few weeks Images courtesy of Bloomwood Photography romance I t was a shared love of Marvel films and football that sent sparks flying between Emma and Matthew. “We met online and went for a stroll along Southend seafront,” Emma remembers. “We really enjoyed each other’s company so we knew there’d be a second date. The rest, as they say, is history!” It wasn’t long before Matthew was planning his super-cute proposal. “I returned home from playing football to find Matthew holding my four-day old niece,” Emma tells us. “In her hand was a note asking me to marry him!” Who couldn’t say yes to that? Emma’s family were hiding in the kitchen ready to celebrate with the happy couple. Although they were planning on a longer engagement, a too-good-to-miss deal at the stunning Fennes in Bocking meant they planned their day in just 14 weeks for the 20 th October, 2018.
