This has to be one of my favourite bridal looks, complete with dewy skin, glossy lips and defined eyes. Larissa has been a client of mine for a while, so we had many conversations about how she wanted to look. The skin was a big deal for Larissa. Like myself, she had suffered with problematic skin, so after a few months of following a good daily regime we wanted to highlight how amazing her complexion was. I created a flawless base using HD Brows foundation applied with a damp beauty blender to get even and natural coverage. This works well alongside the HD Brow concealer to cover any blemishes. Together these products create an invisible base as if you don’t have anything on. The key to making it last all day was applying Laura Mercier’s translucent powder, which is a woman’s best friend for a long-lasting finish. For the cheeks, I used Studio10’s complexion plumping blush and liquid highlighter for a natural flush and dewy shimmer. I created a subtle smoky eye using the Morphe x James Charles brown and gold palette. The gold shimmer highlighted the inner corner and a warm brown defined the socket. I used my favourite eyeliner by Studio10 in Peacock. The purple side really brought out the colour of Larissa’s eyes without being too heavy. To finish it off, we applied a peach lip gloss from HD Brows for an elegant look. This look requires a flawless base. This can be achieved by first applying a smoothing primer to blur pores and ensure make-up stays put all day. Next, apply a medium to full coverage foundation by buffing on in light layers to get a beautiful finish with real staying power. A light layer of setting powder all over the face will smooth the skin and ensure the base stays matte all day. A bright red lip will provide the ultimate in glamour. Complement this with sleek black liquid eyeliner with a small flick. Finish off with a metallic shimmery eyeshadow. A full set of individual or strip false lashes will open up the eyes for an ultra-sophisticated look. Finally, some light contouring on the cheeks will add definition while a glowing highlighter will emphasise cheekbones and brighten the face. Perfectly groomed brows achieved with brow powder, pencil or pomade will frame your face and complete your movie-star transformation.
