An Essex Wedding - Jul/Aug 2019 (Issue 87)

I found a beautiful strapless sheath dress by Justin Alexander. I added a lace top and teamed it with a veil belonging to my bridesmaid. The invitations were in the style of bus tickets because our guests hopped on to a traditional red bus to the venue. Mike and I drove a red MG to the reception. Unfortunately he couldn’t get it into reverse so we had to ask a member of the public to move her car so we could drive forward! The men looked handsome in ocean-blue suits and light blue accessories. My best girls wowed in dresses to complement the colour scheme, which I restyled and shortened for them. Our loved ones enjoyed canapés, Pimm’s and Peroni on arrival before we sat down to a delicious three-course wedding breakfast. Later, a hog roast fuelled the evening party. REAL WEDDINGS 55 
