Country life Steph and Mike’s barn wedding was full of rustic romance Images courtesy of Anesta Broad Photography S teph and Mike went to school together, and Mike even bought a house down the road from Steph, but it wasn’t until they both swiped right on Tinder that they went on a date together. “We met at The Optimist Tavern in Upminster on Valentine’s Day and the rest is history,” Steph tells us. It wasn’t long before Mike was planning the perfect proposal. “He popped the question at Crannog Restaurant at the bottom of Ben Nevis,” Steph says. “I was completely shocked, as were the six screaming girls on the table next to us!” The couple got to work planning their wedding for 2 nd June, 2018, at Broadfields Essex Barn.
