Little did she know that Tim was the man she’d end up marrying. “We exchanged numbers after talking all night,” says Katy. “The rest is history.” The couple were together for three years before Tim planned a surprise trip to Amsterdam for them both. “All he told me was to pack a bag,” Katy remembers. “On the Saturday night we had a private boat trip on the canal. It was here that Tim got down on one knee and popped the question!” Of course Katy said “yes,” and the pair soon returned home to start planning their wedding for the 12 th October, 2018.
