An Essex Wedding - July/August 2024 (Issue 117)

Give your wedding the personal touch with these local, handmade items! HANDMADE in Essex LARA JAYNE DESIGN www.larajaynedesign.co.uk How and where are your products made? I specialise in flower preservation, and everything I create is done from my home studio. The flowers are dried and stored until the resin is due to begin, I then complete a design process using your bouquet and wedding flowers as a guide. Resin is then used to encase the flowers and/or other sentimental items like charms, pins or ribbon. By using this method you get to keep the richness of your original flowers forever. What can you offer the wedding party? I’m able to dry any flowers from your wedding, including the bride’s bouquet, groom’s boutonnière, bridesmaid’s flowers or even the mother of the bride’s corsage. Once these are dried, I can turn them into a beautiful keepsake for your home, gifts for your bridesmaids or parents, or even functional items that you can use and have a constant reminder of your special day.
