The Grade II listed farmhouse is absolutely stunning and we felt warm and cosy every time we were inside. It’s decorated to perfection. Their vision of sustainability reflects our views too. Houchins is a beautiful venue; it’s traditional meets modern with accessibility in mind which was really important for us due to our daughter’s physical disability. My make-up artist, Lexi, is a preferred supplier of Houchins... she enhances your beauty and makes you feel beautiful. From the gorgeous marquee, modern barn, traditional farmhouse accommodation to the firepits, everything was us! My dress was made by Evie Young and named LILA. It was from Abigail’s Collection in Colchester and I was fortunate enough to be their competition winner and won my wedding dress. My veil was a full cathedral veil covered in lace and diamantés. 48
