Having spoken online and on the telephone for a few weeks, it was now time to meet in person, as Amy explains. “Our first date was bowling and cocktails. It was like we’d always known each other, and we couldn’t wait to see each other a few days later. Rich was and is very caring towards me, he looked out for me in ways that no one had ever done before. He made me feel special and is my safe haven.” Rich adds, “Amy always puts everyone before herself. The way she took care of my stepson showed me that she’d be the perfect mother for my children. The day of our wedding meant a lot to us, it was our 12th anniversary of being together, so very special. It didn’t matter what day of the week it was, we just wanted to be married on the 3rd April.” And so, on 3rd April 2024 at Houchins, the pair said their I do’s.
