An Essex Wedding - July/August 2024 (Issue 117)

STYLISH This styled shoot was inspired by American filmmaker, Wes Anderson, whose films are known for their eccentricity, unique visual and narrative styles. Battleswick Farm was the perfect backdrop! Images courtesy of Carrot Top Photos Cinematically Jodie from Ella Bella Events created a styled shoot at the picturesque Battleswick Farm. She says, “Caroline at Caroline Versallion Bridal sent me these beautifully unique dresses which were, in her words, Wes Anderson inspired and that was the start of the shoot. I chose the salmon pinks, greens and pastel colours throughout and loved the idea of keeping it vintage with the décor, from the suitcases to the telephones, from The Treasure Box and bringing Dr Fox’s books in on the tablescape. I just love the book page table runner falling into the books.” The Copper Cacti’s stunning vision with the flowers for the table, arch and their bouquets, using salmon pink anthuriums and coloured gypsophila really brought all the colours together harmoniously. The very quirky green plates and coloured glasses from CMA added even more contrasting colour to the table. Jodie adds, “The hair and make-up stayed along the vintage theme and our models were up to the task for fun and posed Wes Anderson shots, all directed and creatively shot by Carrot Top Photos.” 41 LOCAL INSPIRATION
