Your Yorkshire Wedding - September/October 2024 (Issue 68)

We also decorated with burnt orange chair sashes and napkins, plus a neon ‘I love you’ sign. Our centrepieces were a trio of candelabras with a mix of white and burnt orange roses, green foliage and black candles. Our table numbers were held by black frames, and were accompanied by Polaroid photos of us at the age corresponding to the number. The table plan was designed to fit our burnt orange palette by Creative Venue Stylists. We treated guests to Krispy Kremes as wedding favours. We were blessed with amazing weather for February. From the mist over the lake while the bridal party was getting ready, to the bright sun after the ceremony, and moody skies as the sun was setting in the evening. Lisa, our photographer, captured some some incredible photos for us. The ceremony in Winstons Barn stood out for us. Harry was holding it together until I waked in, then he found himself fighting back the tears. To be surrounded by 70 of our loved ones in such a beautiful and intimate room was special. 37 REAL WEDDINGS
