This couple’s wedding beautifully showcased their love story, filled with personal touches that reflected their journey together. 26 54 The Everglade gown from Claire Pettibone’s Moonlight Reverie Collection is truly a masterpiece, showcasing a stunning overskirt paired with a playful mini. Autumn is one of my favourite seasons, and for good reason! There’s something so refreshing about the end of summer, as the sweltering heat gives way to a more temperate climate. The air becomes crisp and invigorating, and I can’t help but get excited knowing that Christmas is just around the corner, bringing a sense of joy and festivity. Fall offers a variety of seasonal themes and décor options for weddings! To reflect the fall foliage, choose a seasonal colour palette with deep hues like burgundy, mustard yellow, burnt orange and forest green. Incorporate gold, copper or bronze for a touch of elegance and warmth. For indoor celebrations, look for rustic barns, cosy lodges or elegant ballrooms that can be decorated with seasonal elements. Use string lights, lanterns or candles to create a warm and inviting ambience as the sun sets. Use flowers in season, such as dahlias, chrysanthemums, sunflowers and roses in autumn colours. Incorporate seasonal foliage like eucalyptus, maple leaves or branches for a natural touch. The abundance of seasonal produce also allows for creative catering, with delicious options like pumpkin spice desserts and hearty comfort foods that reflect the season. Create fallinspired drinks, like spiced apple cider, pumpkin spice lattes or cocktails with cinnamon and nutmeg. No need to worry if you’re organising your special day in a different season; this edition is brimming with diverse creative ideas and inspiration for weddings that can be beautifully tailored to any time of year. Whether you’re dreaming of a vibrant spring celebration filled with blooming flowers, a sunsoaked summer gathering outdoors, a cosy autumn affair or a magical winter wonderland complete with twinkling lights, we’ve got you covered. Cheylesmore Manor House, Coventry Coventry is an historic city with a rich and diverse history, situated in the heart of the country. It is known for its medieval Coventry Cathedral which was left in ruins after WWII bombing and home to an unfortified Manor House, previously the only unfortified royal palace outside of London, Cheylesmore Manor is now used as a stunning ceremony venue. The remnants of a medieval royal palace, the gatehouse of Cheylesmore Manor, is at the heart of the city on New Union Street. The magnificent timber building is a key piece of Coventry’s rich and important heritage. The manor is believed to have been built for the Earl of Arundel in 1237. By 1320 it had passed to Queen Isabella, wife of Edward II, along with the lavish Cheylesmore Park that surrounded it. Her grandson Edward, the Black Prince, took possession of it after her. The building we know today is, in fact, only the gatehouse and parts of two cross wings to the original manor house. The Manor House houses three beautiful ceremony rooms: The Queen Isabella Room, The Black Prince Room and the Library Room. www.ceremoniesinsidecoventry.co.uk With bespoke ceremony co-ordinators on hand to guide you through every step of the way, helpful Register Office teams and even easy to manage personalised stationery packages, Coventry can’t wait to welcome you for your ceremony, from weddings to naming days, commitment celebrations and civil partnerships - we can host it all. A DREAM-WORTHY DAY Moxhull Hall provided the perfect setting for Michael and Chantell’s wedding Images courtesy of Emily Jayne Weddings 26

Michael and Chantell were together for four wonderful years before they decided to get engaged. Their connection was instant, fueled by their similar personalities, and they were destined to be a couple. The day after celebrating Chantell’s 35th birthday during a weekend getaway to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, one of her favourite places, Michael surprised Chantell by proposing. It was a moment she would never forget! Together, they planned the perfect wedding with showstopping touches. SETTING THE SCENE Moxhull Hall was the fifth location the couple explored! From the moment the bride stepped inside during the tour, she felt it was the ideal place for their celebration. She shared, “I knew instantly from the in-person viewings that this was the place. It had that wow factor, which I knew would be key in making the day special for us both. The beautiful nine acres of gardens and the Victorian manor won my heart. This was all the more important as I always wanted an outdoor ceremony. We reserved the date straight away! We could not have found a better venue for us. The property and staff exceeded our requirements and expectations. They were always willing to help and ensured that we stuck to the timings on the day, which was very helpful. The wedding breakfast was delightful. We chose a menu that we felt covered most of the requirements, but they could also accommodate people with allergies or other dietary requirements, which was important for us. We have been back since for a Valentine’s meal. It was nice to see them all again.” Subira from SK Event Styling decorated the venue just as the bride had envisioned. She considered the couple’s requirements and decorated the aisle and the wedding breakfast room beautifully. The outdoor ceremony featured scattered rose petals along the procession path. The registrar’s table was adorned with greenery at the front, with flower trails elegantly tied at the ends. The pavilion at the front was beautifully draped in foliage, covering three sides. On either side of the aisle entrance were acrylic stands showcasing textured ivory florals. All of these beautiful touches contributed to the luxury atmosphere and enhanced photographs. For the wedding breakfast, the pair had white chiffon chair drapes double tied with silk ribbon and eucalyptus stems on every other chair. The table plan was designed with a simple white rose and foliage design, matching the colour theme. This was presented on a wooden easel at the main entrance to the wedding breakfast room. Centrepieces comprised of a glass crystal candelabra with tapered candles and ivory-textured floral arrangements in glass vases on each table. The top table had an additional ivory-textured floral garland with floating candles alongside. Guests enjoyed a five-course wedding breakfast and a Caribbean buffet in the evening for those guests who arrived for the after-party. For favours, guests received personalised loveheart sweets. Another sweet treat was the three-tiered cake with two vanilla and jam tiers and a lemon and curd tier. The bake was decorated with coral and ivory icing with marble effect ganache and additional cascading flowers provided by the florist. LOOKING THE PART The bride wore a Martini Liana Wedding Dress in style 1338 after falling in love with the beaded lace fit and the beautiful train. She accessorised with a beautiful ivory veil, pearl drop earrings and a pearl bracelet. The relaxed hand-tied bridal bouquet with coral, ivory and green roses from Miss Piggy & Ivory looked stunning in photos. This featured lisianthus, spray roses, stocks of eucalyptus and soft ruscus. The bridal party had smaller versions to carry. Chantell comments, “I felt very emotional after getting ready! The whole preparation of the day made it even more evident that I was about to get married. Walking down the aisle was very special to me. With my dad by my side, I was overcome with joy when I saw my husband-to-be. Michael looked 27 REAL WEDDINGS
