We had a harpist, Fiona Hosford, meet our guests until dinner was served. After the wedding breakfast, we had a disco and photo booth from KG Entertainments. Guests loved being able to choose the music in advance, and the DJ was very friendly and had a good rapport with our friends and family. Geoffrey chose a black dinner suit, white dress shirt and red bow tie. The ceremony stood out the most for us. It was so funny, and everyone was laughing. Geoffrey was so nervous that he couldn’t say my name. He was stopped by the registrar on several occasions as he kept mispronouncing it. He then said ‘Louise’, which is my daughter’s name, to which the registrar laughed and said: ‘no you’re not marrying Linda’s daughter.’ Our guests and the registrars were in fits of laughter. On the morning of the wedding, I was very calm and happy, but Geoffrey felt very nervous. I wore a red flared dress with a black lace bodice decorated with little gems from Emma Tindley Wedding Dress Designer. I saw it on the internet and fell in love with it right away. My son’s speech had guests laughing and in tears. It was very touching. 39 REAL WEDDINGS
