Local photographers share their favourite weddings from 2024 Snap SHOTS SEERS-FORD PRODUCTIONS Botleys Mansion is always a fantastic venue to shoot at, and Sara and Dan’s wedding on 31st May 2024 was a perfect example of why. The venue’s elegant setting, combined with a couple who truly valued their photography, made for an incredible day to capture. From the start, Sara and Dan had a clear vision for their photos and were happy to invest time into them, which always makes a huge difference. One of the standout moments for me was the groom’s prep; Dan and his groomsmen were more than happy to take some proper posed shots, which isn’t always the case. In their black-tie suits against Botleys’ grand interiors, these photos have a really stylish and timeless feel. Looking back, there were three shots from the day that really stood out to me: their first kiss, perfectly framed with the ceremony setup creating a stunning backdrop, capturing that first moment as newlyweds; the grand staircase shot, taken from the top of the orangery stairs, with them sharing a kiss beneath the fairylights while their guests looked up in awe; a unique couple’s portrait in the grounds, framed from a different angle to create something a little less expected, making it stand out while still capturing the beauty of the venue. Weddings like this remind me why I love what I do. When a couple is fully on board with making time for photography, it allows me to get creative and capture shots that feel natural, stylish, and timeless.
