Matt wore a three-piece navy-blue tuxedo found and fitted by Dapper Formal Wear in Dorking. The groomsmen matched Matt in the same threepiece tux which was dark blue with a subtle check print. We chose Guildford Manor as it is close to my grandparents. My nana is 96 and has dementia so I wanted to make sure we picked somewhere close so she had the best chance of coming. We managed to arrange a carer to bring her for the drinks reception. Matt is from the south coast and likes to be in the countryside, we therefore chose the venue as it was close to home but also in the lovely area of the Surrey Hills so there was plenty of greenery and lovely views. I wore a Mikaella bridal dress, with a fit-and-flare design and high neckline. The original belt was swapped with a rose gold belt to match the colour theme. For favours, we had pieces of fudge in tiny cream suitcases with the place names tied to them. My bouquet, the bridesmaid’s bouquet and table flowers consisted of roses, peonies berries and eucalyptus. My maid-of-honour was my best friend from my musical theatre degree, she wore a dress by Karen Millen and my bridesmaid wore a dress from Monsoon. 44
