Your Surrey Wedding - June/July 2024 (Issue 107)

I wore the dress Juno by Rish Bridal, which I got from Ellie Sanderson in Oxfordshire. I thought I wanted a tightfitting dress, but they weren’t doing much for me. I actually just saw this dress online and knew it was the one, I ended up paying for it to be shipped over so I could try it on because the store didn’t stock it. Luckily, I fell in love with it and I went home with the dress that day! The great thing about Botley Hill Barn is you really didn’t need much décor. The reception barn already had exposed brick, and fireplaces, candles everywhere and dried flowers. The main barn had floor-to-ceiling windows which overlooked a green valley so the view was all you needed! Botley Hill Barn was the perfect mix of the ‘bougie’ style Luke wanted combined with the ‘rustic’ look I was after. As soon as we walked in we knew it was the venue for us. There are three different barns for each part of your day so it felt like we had so much space. The groomsmen were all in navy suits with beige waistcoats. My husband was in the same except he had a beige jacket on to make him stand out. They had rust-coloured pocket squares which matched my bridesmaids’ dresses. 44
