Charlotte and Michael met via the online dating site Tinder in 2015. “Our profile pictures were of us both on holidays in Marbella and Ibiza so it was clear that we shared a love of partying!” Charlotte tells us. “We discovered that we lived around the corner from each other and hit it off on our first date.” Mike proposed during a trip to Coal Drops Yard in Kings Cross. “It was a complete surprise,” Charlotte tells us. “My first reaction to him getting down on one knee was “why are you on the floor!” He had remembered a beautiful ring that I had spotted in a jeweller’s in Wimbledon and secretly purchased it.” SETTING THE SCENE The couple had originally booked a barn on a working farm as their venue and were going to be creating the DIY touches themselves. “I then fell pregnant with our little boy so we had to postpone our wedding,” Charlotte tells us. “On reflection, we decided that we wanted a beautiful venue where everything would be in one place and Nutfield Priory Hotel & Spa provided just that - the gorgeous 37 REAL WEDDINGS
