Instead of one big wedding cake we had a tower of Krispy Kremes. We didn’t do traditional favours. Instead, we printed out little square photos of us with each guest, which went down really well and most took theirs home. Matt made our table names using places special to the two of us. Matt’s groomsmen wore the opposite of the groom – black tuxes with stonecoloured bow ties. I decided to have five different styles of dress for my bridesmaids. Two were gold and two were bronze. The ladies looked breathtaking and the colours complemented each other so well. We decided to go non-traditional and opted for a sweetheart table where Matthew and I sat together, just the two of us. We loved this as it gave us time to be close to each other while looking out at our guests as we took it all in. 47 REAL WEDDINGS
