Within, there are several beautiful rooms, each with their own characterful features, including a glass chandelier in the Salon, the original marble floor in the Winter Garden, and lovely wall pillars in the Terrace Room. Set in beautiful public grounds on the banks of the River Thames, the venue also boasts a breathtaking exterior with lovely iron gates and a sweeping drive separating it from the hubbub of Twickenham. The Salon (70 ceremony, 60 wedding breakfast, 80 evening guests), is an ornate room at the front of the house with a beautiful chandelier. Alternatively, The Terrace Room (40 seated and 10 standing ceremony guests, or 70 standing reception guests) is a traditional space at the back of the house, overlooking the gardens and offering direct access to them plus the terrace. You may also opt for The Winter Garden (60 ceremony, 40 wedding breakfast and 70 evening guests), a beautiful Victorian conservatory featuring a black and white marble tiled floor and a variety of plants. For the most intimate of “I dos,” The Terrace Parlour is a traditional room at the back of the house, which overlooks the gardens and is licensed for eight seated and four standing. For larger guest lists, Hyde Room (70 ceremony, 60 wedding breakfast and 80 evening guests) next to the Clarendon Hall and offers ample space with its high ceiling and neutral colour palette. It’s licensed for up to 70 seated. The aforementioned Clarendon Hall (250 ceremony, 150 wedding breakfast guests with a top table of 10) is the largest of all the venue’s licensed rooms.
