Dusty Miller was my late grandfather’s name, so it was important to me to have this foliage in our flowers. The buttonholes were peach spray roses with a sprig of foliage to complement. They were simple and elegant and complemented my bouquet perfectly. Our tables were named after our favourite bands. We bought photo holders to secure them, and they were placed in the centre of our tables. My mum had been drying lavender all year for us to use throughout our styling. It looked gorgeous in the centrepieces. Our table plan design matched our stationery and was placed at the entrance to the venue. Creating the seating plan was the most stressful part of our planning, as we wanted everyone to get along as we mingled. We created party bags of treats for our younger guests that went down well. I was keen to have a rustic look for our floral centrepieces. Our table names were named after our favourite bands, and we also had photos of the beer being brewed and a little story of how it was made. Matt and I were keen not to have a top table so we could be amongst our guests, so we opted to sit at a circular table like everyone else. It created a really nice energy, and we could feel the buzz around the room. One of our friends made the cake topper, which was a wooden motive with our wedding logo on it.
