The manor of Peelings is mentioned in the Domesday Book, but there’s been a settlement on the site since Anglo-Saxon times and probably long before that. The manor and farm buildings are Grade II listed, with the earliest surviving part of the house dating back to the late 15th century. THE “I DOS” Although the venue isn’t licensed for ceremonies, many opt to have a blessing during their reception. These can take place anywhere on site with space for 100 in the Flint Barn or 200 maximum capacity across the whole venue. THE CELEBRATIONS A totally DIY venue, Peelings Manor Barns offers the ideal blank canvas for wedding receptions. The space includes the stunning Grade II listed traditional Sussex flint barn with its cartwheel chandeliers and enclosed outdoor spaces to the front and back along with plenty of cover. You hire the space only and everything else is up to you with complete freedom of choice. You have the option to hire all or part of the space.
