I chose Olivia, which I bought at Meryl Bridal. I fell in love with it instantly. I love the classic, plain style and wanted an A-line or ballgown silhouette as it’s not something you’d typically wear. I accessorised with a delicate tiara to add some sparkle and a two-tier veil. After the ceremony we had outdoor games – luckily the weather was beautiful. Wherever we go we find a crazy golf course to go to, and even had a game after we got engaged, so it seemed like a nobrainer to hire one for our wedding. We also had swing ball, bowls and giant Connect 4. The bridesmaids wore floor-length burgundy dresses with a small sparkly belt. Ben and his groomsmen wore navy three-piece suits with a light tan check and accessorised with burgundy ties and pocket squares. Ben’s waistcoat was tan, which allowed him to stand out a little more. All of the tables were named after types of birds and the place names were written on lasercut bird shapes. My bouquet featured big white and deep red dahlias, white and pale pink roses and lots of foliage. The ceremony was the most magical and special part of the day – experiencing all the emotions, seeing everyone’s faces and finally marrying each other. 39 REAL WEDDINGS
