My wedding dress was backless, so we chose similar style floor-length gowns for the bridesmaids. The cake was a six-tiered bake, iced in black and adorned with white roses to reflect the centrepieces. The place names and table numbers were designed to match the table plan, and we gifted our guests with miniature cakes as wedding favours. In keeping with our elegant theme, Shane wore a white tuxedo with a black tie, and the groomsmen were dressed in a contrasting black version. Our guests loved the tricks our magician performed and were left speechless by them. Our son, who is 12, surprised us with a beautiful speech. REAL WEDDINGS 55 
