They parted ways when they went to different secondary schools, but happily reconnected again aged 18. “We’ve been inseparable ever since,” Lilli says. Harry proposed in 2017 on Christmas Eve while walking on the beach where they’d had their first date. Lilli remembers, “It was a complete surprise!” It wasn’t too long before the couple set their sights on finding a venue for the big day. They were both keen on a location close to the sea since the beach holds such special meaning for them. Lilli explains, “As soon as we stepped into Angel House we fell in love. The Regency Room, where ceremonies are held, has floor- to-ceiling windows looking out to sea, and we knew it was just perfect.” The date was set for 14th March, 2020.
