PEELINGS MANOR BARNS 07933 092 102 www.peelingsmanorbarns.wixsite.com/peelingsmanorbarns Peelings Manor Barns is the ideal DIY venue, offering a perfect blank canvas for wedding receptions. The manor of Peeling is mentioned in the Domesday Book, but there’s been a settlement on the site since Anglo-Saxon times. The earliest surviving part of the manor house dates from the late 15 th -century, and the farm buildings from the 1850s. Located in Hankham, just outside Eastbourne, the space includes the stunning, Grade II listed, traditional Sussex flint barn, barnyard, cloisters, and access to a site at the back of the barn should you wish to extend the space with a marquee. You won’t be tied to any preferred suppliers and services, so you’re able to shape your own personal vision of your big day, with freedom of choice. Receptions take place in the Flint Barn, which has capacity for 100 guests for a sit-down wedding breakfast, and 200 across the whole venue for the evening. FIELD PLACE MANOR HOUSE & BARNS 01903 446 401 | www.fieldplace.co.uk Nestled in eight acres of beautiful Green Flag award-winning grounds is Grade II listed Field Place Manor House, a fine example of an 18th-century English country house. The house as you see it today boasts an original Georgian façade and portico, providing and elegant entrance and backdrop for your big day. We love the original features of the manor house, which have been restored to their full glory. Records show 14 th -century origins, but it’s the interior Jacobean features dating back to 1624 that are the most striking. Among the grounds are the stunning wedding gardens for beautiful photos, as well as an outside playpark to keep the youngest guests entertained. It’s easy to see why Field Place was chosen as the winner of best town or city wedding venue at the national finals of the Wedding Industry Awards in 2020. Say your “I dos” in the Pavilion Barn. It’s a spacious setting with a beautiful private courtyard and licensed bar, and can accommodate 150 guests. For vows inside the manor you can choose from The Oak Room for 25 guests, and The Chichester Room for 95. Alternatively, if an al fresco ceremony is more your thing, the wedding gardens are available for 150 loved ones, where you’ll be surrounded by gorgeous white planting and soft arches of wisteria. Receptions take place in the Sussex barn, which radiates warmth through its oak-beamed high ceiling and fairylight canopy. It can seat 120 for the wedding breakfast, and 200 guests can accompany you for the evening. www.teriv photography.co.uk 30
